Leatherworking is interesting to me for a couple of reasons, one being that it allows me to prepare personalised sketchbooks that are bound in leather, another is versatility of materials it can be paired together with. Combining this medium with fabric and wood material, metal rivets is a learning curve, but once in the middle of such a project, it becomes addictive and very enjoyable.
